Why have a web site?
If you run a business the answer is simple.
To sell more, more profitably.
Most businesses are now judged by potential customers by their web presence. If you don't have a web site, or one that doesn't project you in your best light, your business runs the risk of missing opportunities.
At the very least, a well designed web site will enhance the profile of your business, providing an additional 'shop-front' - an integral part of any marketing strategy.
Better still, it could act as a shop, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How much will it cost?
It depends. For a simple web site consisting of a few pages it will be cheaper than a single advertisement in a local newspaper, and it will be there for more than a day! The hardest part is deciding what to say, or what to leave out. We take care of all the technical bits, including domain name registration and hosting, leaving you to concentrate on your business.
For a more complex web site, displaying data, for example to enable customers to view stock availability or place orders, it will be more expensive; but probably not as expensive as you think.
