Sage 50 Accounts (Line 50) has become the 'de facto' accounting system for small to medium sized businesses in the UK. Sage claims that it now has 600,000 UK users, representing about one third of all VAT registered companies. It has achieved this status and market penetration because, from an accounting perspective, it does all the basics very well and represents excellent value for money.
Sage 50 Accounts has a further trick up its sleeve - Sage has provided software developers, such as Celox Software, with the ability to create 'add-on' products that fully integrate with Sage 50 Accounts.
